The Trans-Tasman Supermatch Challenge wrapped up on Saturday night in spectacular fashion! The final score ended 5 wins each for the Spartans and Brothers in Arms, but the night was never just about the scoreboard — it was about competition, camaraderie, and having a great time around the table. A huge thank you to Maateiwarangi Heta-Morris for bringing over a strong and talented group of armwrestlers from across the ditch. The matches were incredibly competitive and evenly contested. Special thanks to Dimi for his excellent refereeing, Tom for down-reffing, and my wife Suzan for feeding the troops and the wonderful photo's. Thanks as well to everyone who attended and helped make the night such a memorable event. There were some fantastic victories from both clubs. One standout moment was Sean Magnusson’s impressive left-arm win over Adam Laura in the warm-up match between Canberra Arm Wrestling Club and the Sydney Spartans. The highlight of the night was Neti Latu defeating Ashleigh Hoeta on the right arm, followed by the main event, where Jack Lawrence did it for us older blokes, defeating Garry Koshnitsky in a great battle.
